Hi, I'M FIORA
and welcome to my brain.
I'm a songwriter, singer, music producer and coach and it was hard to fit all the things I do under a single banner so I started Louder Music Media in 2024.
The company has three main objectives - releasing music through our label Louderstar Records, develop and produce musically inspired narrative projects, as well as musical coaching products through Loudergirl and The Fiora Method.
I feel like I spent the first half of my life holding back for not being a cohesive "brand" but these days I stand by my deepest belief - that creativity is a path you follow rather than one you impose on yourself.
I'm glad you're here, however you found your way to me on the internet. And while it is possible to be many different things at once, I do try to send my things out into the world under different names to save you confusion. I understand if you want to learn singing from me, that doesn't mean you like all the music I make.
But in any case - that's how (and why) Louder Music Media was born. I hope you feel safe in the knowledge that this is the website of my (Fiora's) company, and essentially the shopfront of The Fiora Method, Louderstar, Loudergirl and Emotional Whiplash.
MY STORY
I grew up in a small town in regional Tasmania where I was obsessed with music and dreaming. I didn't really fit in so I spent my life deeply listening and playing music. I studied violin, voice and piano and eventually went to the queensland conservatorium of music on scholarship, and studied opera with a magical woman who changed my life - Professor Janet Delprat.
Discovering your REAL voice, the expanse of it, what it is truly capable of - is a magical process, and Jan turned me from a breathy soprano as she called me - into a woman with an unapologetic projected sound not only when I sing, but importantly in my speaking voice - which is where it really all starts.
In order to do this I had to REALLY learn how the voice worked, which is why I know how to teach that to others now.
Maybe because of my orchestral background or just the sheer amount of pop music I had listened to, I wanted to write music. So once I had finished my opera degree I started writing songs and fell into writing music for kids tv. I wrote the theme song for a show called "The Sleepover Club" and moved to Berlin. I started writing songs with DJ's and singing them. Eventually I moved to Los Angeles and wrote a musical project called "Gemini Rising" and started coaching actors in how to sing. My career in Hollywood took off and these days I get to coach incredible humans. Uma Thurman, Marion Cotillard, Ana de Armas, Lindsay Lohan, Jon Favreau, Jon Lovitz, Sunny Sandler.
These days I split my time between my two loves - creating things - and coaching. I've been writing a musical since 2020, made my own record label, started a band with the best humans in the world (Louderstar) and continue to work with DJ's. Creativity is a kind of calling, it heals parts of you - and then it becomes a joy. I'm very intentional about what I spend my creative energy on these days and I really hope the things I make can help you in your life.
